HRH the Duchess of Cambridge visits Luxembourg

On 11 May 2017, HRH the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Grand Duchy to take part in the official commemoration of the 150 anniversary of the 1867 Treaty of London.

HRH Crown Princess Stéphanie and Prime Minister Xavier Bettel accompanied the Duchess to the Museum of Modern Art Grand Duke Jean (MUDAM) where they visited the exhibition currently on display by British artists Sir Tony Cragg and Darren Almond. They were then joined by HRH Crown Prince Guillaume for a visit to the Luxembourg City Museum , where the exhibition “The Luxembourg Story” is currently on display, and a guided tour of the Corniche. TTRRHH the Hereditary Grand Ducal Couple, together with Prime Minister Bettel, then accompanied HRH the Duchess of Cambridge to the Musée Dräi Eechelen, where they toured the exhibition “ 1867 Luxembourg – ville ouverte .”

Her Royal Highness was also received in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace by Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, who were joined by TTRRHH Crown Prince Guillaume, Crown Princess Stéphanie and Princess Alexandra.
