Jean-Claude Juncker meets with Nick Clegg

Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Jean-Claude Juncker, met Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg on 17 July 2012.

They discussed the political and economic situation in the European Union, as well as looking at the Eurozone in particular. Mr Juncker and Mr Clegg examined the outcome of the European Council and the Eurozone summit which took place on 28-29 June 2012, focusing especially on the issue of a future banking union.
