The Grand Ducal Family present at Prince Sebastien’s graduation from Sandhurst

Published Tuesday August 15 2017

On 11 August 2017, Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess attended the Sovereign’s Parade of Their son, H.R.H Prince Sébastien. They were joined by other members of the Grand Ducal family, namely TT.RR.HH the Hereditary Grand Ducal couple, Prince Félix and Princess Claire, as well as Prince Louis and Princess Alexandra.

Following the review of the troops by HM King Abdallah II of Jordan, the traditional parade ended with a march-past by the officer cadets at the end of which Prince Sébastien joined His parents and siblings for lunch at the Old College Square.

H.R.H Prince Sébastien has continued a family tradition, linking the Grand Ducal family to Sandhurst. Both His father, HRH Grand Duke Henri, and His brother, Crown Prince Guillaume also attended this renowned military academy. HRH Grand Duke Jean attended Sandhurst as well before becoming Lieutenant, then Colonel of the Irish Guards and then in 1995, Honorary General of the British Army.
