Xavier Bettel attends the World Economic Forum in Davos
The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, joined by Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, attended the World Economic Forum from 20-22 January 2016.
In Davos, Prime Minister Bettel participated in a panel discussion entitled “Governors Policy Meeting for Media, Entertainment and Information,” in addition to a panel which looked at diversity in the workplace. He also held a meeting with his British counterpart, the Rt Hon. David Cameron, to discuss Britain’s demands in the context of the UK’s referendum on the EU which will feature on the agenda of the next European Council.
Xavier Bettel and HRH the Grand Duchess also met various representatives from international organisations, including Angel Gurria, Secretary-General of the OECD, Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, Houlin Zhao, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union, and Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
