“CARPE DIEM » Exhibition by Gust Graas at Luxembourg House
From 7 May to 27 June 2014, Gust Graas presents the London première of his new exhibition « Carpe Diem » at the Luxembourg House. The exhibition is open to the public by appointment only at Londres.amb@mae.etat.lu
Gust Graas, born in Luxembourg in 1924, has exhibited regularly in Luxembourg and other European countries, as well as China and Dubai.
In his book 'The Spanish Years', the artist writes:
“I paint a picture of a free and generously bright and joyful nature which is celebrating continuous movement. I float from the light to the somber, between the constant and the unsteady, from wild exuberance to quiet tenderness, between mild gusts of wind and a dangerous precipice. In my colours you can find beauty, happiness and strength”.
