Ambassador Jean Olinger attended the ceremony of unveiling of the Blue Plaque in honour of Radio Luxembourg DJs at 38 Hertford Street in London

The ceremony of unveiling of the Blue Plaque took place at the building of the former headquarters of Radio Luxembourg at 38 Hertford Street in Mayfair not far from the Luxembourg Embassy. For many years the programs were recorded there then flown out to Luxembourg.

Many of the former DJs attended the ceremony including Paul Burnett, David Kid Jensen, Mark Wesley, Pearly Gates, Peter Anthony, Tony Prince plus fans and other music industry friends.A Blue Plaque is a recognized symbol of the British national heritage, a living footprint of their history and serves as a permanent reminder of important contributions to the history of the country. The British Plaque Trust commemorates the contributions, lives and notable, influential and successful people from all walks of life.
